From before I could see over the dashboard of my daddy's early sixties Chevy wagon, that dashboard with a light show like a KISS concert, I knew what I wanted out of life. All the unbelievable noises that came out of that rack of magical lights and dials. My first favorite song was "The Lonesome Fugitive", by Merle Haggard.
