Cyrusfx has been experimenting with artificial sounds since 1997, attempting to create rhythms & frequencies that stimulate natural pleasure centers in the brain. Cyrusfx was born in Santa Barbara, California. After a few formulative years with the live Industrial Techno outfit Big Techno Fighter, he launched a solo career, combining progressive rock influences with the modern sounds of "electronica" and beatmaking utilities/softwares. His first CD release was the psychedelica-laden "Y" in 2000
