CPU Buddha is a digital hardcore band based in Houston, Texas, created in 2023. Its members are comprised of vocalist and producer Johnny Thompson, keyboardist Kei Sprague, and drummer Jack Riggs. They released their debut self-titled EP on July 10 2024, and their remix follow up EP entitled "²" (Squared) on March 9 2025. Johnny Thompson is also known under his alias JOHNNASCUS, which was put on hiatus on September 21 2023, and recently made a small return with a feature.
