Yoko Kanno (Yoko Kanno, Kanno Yōko, 菅野よう子), born March 19, 1964 in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. She is a famous composer and keyboardist known for her performances and musical scores in anime titles, including Cowboy Bebop, Macross Plus, Turn A Gundam, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and many others. Some of her most famous soundtrack themes include “Voices” (Macross Plus), “Tank!” and “The Real Folk Blues” (Cowboy Bebop)
