Clint Dempsey is an American soccer (football) player that currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur of the English Premier League, and as the captain of the United States men's national soccer team. Dempsey, better known for his footballing career than his music career, began playing the sport in Northeastern Texas, initially playing pickup games in his hometown, Nacogdoches, Texas, before moving on to play for the premier youth soccer club, Dallas Texans.
