cheLovek is a musical project founded by Russian actor and musician Артур Смольянинов (Artur Smolyaninov), now based in Riga. Blending elements of alternative rock, post-punk, and deeply personal lyricism, the project reflects Смольянинов’s artistic evolution from acclaimed actor to introspective songwriter. Before launching cheLovek, Артур Смольянинов was best known as a film and theater actor. Music, however, had been a part of his life since childhood.
