Calais

There are at least two artists with the name Calais. 1. An Australian alternative rock band (active from 2010 to present ) 2. An English indie rock band (active from 2011 to present) 1. Calais is also the name of a five piece alternative rock band from Brisbane, Australia whose songs combine creative melodies with strong rhythms and emotive lyrics. While their sound is described as a cross between the Kings of Leon and U2, the band has been influenced by a spectrum of styles and ages, from Muse to Led Zeppelin.
