Though Cains:Feel never surpassed indies obscurity, three of its members have since gone on to form one of Japan's most popular bands, GacktJOB. Little is known about Gackt's first band beyond what he mentions in his autobiography Jihaku. After meeting in the late 1980's, then drummer Gackt and guitarist YOU decided to form a band in Kyoto. Gackt soon became the vocalist after the two discovered that there were few talents who suited their style.
