Brian Pern is a character from the satirical BBC show 'The Life Of Rock With Brian Pern'. He is played by English actor and comedian Simon Day and is a parody of musician Peter Gabriel. His songs such as 'Love Is Modern' and 'The Song With Whistling In It' are parodies of the Peter Gabriel songs 'Modern Love' and 'Games Without Frontiers'. He was the original frontman in the band 'Thocht' which is a parody of 'Genesis'.
