Blurstem is the cinematic, minimalist piano and ambient music project of Minneapolis-based composer and multidisciplinary artist Chris Bartels. Conceived as a quiet side project to his electronic-ambient alias Elskavon, Blurstem focuses on intimate, raw, and often late-night piano improvisations that blend stark restraint with expansive soundscapes.
