Beneva vs. Clark Nova consists of the Oslo-based duo Frank Benjamin Finger and Rudi Simmons. Their music is based upon many different influences; the soundscapes are detailed and full of contradictions as the duo is concerned about melodies, but at the same time fond of abstract sounds. Imagine a combination between the askew pop sound of Hanne Hukkelberg, the electro-acoustic world of Sébastien Roux and Greg Davis, and the complex rhythms of Autechre. And everything in-between.
