Becca Pieters

Becca Pieters, formerly known as White Elephant Gift Exchange, got her start playing the oboe in middle school band class. She had a natural affinity for the strange, nasal woodwind instrument and continued playing through college. She received a scholarship to study oboe performance at the University of Florida, but sometime along the way she discovered the guitar. After learning approximately five chords, she then let the poor instrument sit in a corner while
