Dr. Bishop Barbara Farmer is a woman of many gifts and roles. She is a daughter, wife, mother, teacher, counselor, elder, composer and minister of music. Pastor Farmer is the second of six children born to Bishop Lillian Ward and Elder Edward Ward, Sr. She was born on September 5, 1950 in Philadelphia, PA. She was baptized at the age of seven in the Delaware River and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at the age of eleven under the Pastorate of the late Bishop L.
