Backhand Blue is an independent active rock band built from the ground up with no label, no shortcuts, and two consecutive Billboard-charting singles to show for it. Fronted by vocalist Macy Addis (Portsmouth, Ohio) and guitarist Eli Dykstra (Boyden, Iowa), the band has spent the past two years proving that the independent path can produce real radio results.
