AV Star is the solo project of former Exit Nation guitarist Matthew Stephen, assisted by the vocals of Patrick Lecky and produced by "Shadow Era" Jake McClay. Using complex drums and metal guitar work, AV Star plays an original blend of Metalcore and Progressive Metal, taking influence from bands like Dream Theater, God Forbid, Trivium and Killswitch Engage. The first EP, "Article I: Burn The Book" is in the recording process and is due to be finished by the end of Summer 2009.
