Automatic Shoes is the solo project of Matthew Joseph Hughes, frontman for the Spokane band Atari Ferrari. His discography includes over a dozen full-length, self-produced albums of original songs in addition to assorted EPs and singles. Classic Rock Magazine has called Automatic Shoes "a sparkling pocket of melodic introspection," referring to Matthew as a "pop-rock maverick... one of those artists who deserves to be better known than he is."
