The Alma Irata project was born in June 2008 from the meeting of Alessandro Ricci (vocals and guitar), Mauro Silvi (guitar), and Santino Ricci (drums). Coming from previous experiences and driven by the desire to embark on a new musical journey, the three collaborated with various bassists until the arrival of Fulvio Rimoli in January 2013. From its early months, Alma Irata has been characterized by the search and development of a defined and recognizable sound, paired with lyrics predominantly inspired by socio-political themes.
