Alastair met Alasdair way back in 2005. Since then they have played as a duo around Edinburgh while working on their PhD's. Recently they have started a band, (still without a proper name) with Lucy Cradden on fiddle, Niki Boyle on drums and Jenny Sturgeon on backing vocals.
