Aleka (also spelled as Αλέκα Κανελλίδου) became a popular singer in Greece during the 70s and the 80s, but back in the sixties she was just starting out with her career. She recorded a single in 1967 with the songs "The more I see you" and "Stranger", with Vangelis to help out. "The more I see you" is considered part of the Greek 'garage' movement from the sixties, as it was released on the LP "Operation Shake the Earth".
