Ahmed Nazmi

Ahmed Nazmi Started off as a piano player at the age of 6, then learning the lute and guitar as he grew up, Nazmi took a turn at the age of 15, when he decided to pursue his new passion of bass playing. As he continues to develop his own signature, he has been revisiting his heritage with a new perspective, where he has developed an original approach of playing the bass where he delicately blends the tradition of playing jazz, the music of Africa with his Egyptian musical heritage into his playing and distinctive style.
